Despite going down to the Cowboys in their clash at Cairns Barlow park on Sunday, the Rabbitohs have continued to grow their supporter base in Far North Queensland.
A dominant North Queensland, lead by a free wheeling Johnathon Thurston were simply to good for the Souths side that had hoped to put up a much better display in former skipper John Suttons 250th match for the club.
Despite the 20 – 0 loss, the fact that Souths were able to attract just under 15,000 members and supporters to the match provided some solace for Souths Dhungutti skipper Greg Inglis (pictured).
