Johnathon Thurston has praised his Queensland teammates for the way they refused to lie down in Wednesday nights last minute 18 – 14 loss to the Blues in Origin Game Three.
The Maroons suffered under a bizarre 9 – 1 penalty count against them in the first half and the inexplicable sinbinning of Cooper Cronk.
The Queensland team were in the match until the very last minute of the match when Blues centre Michael Jennings scooted over for the match winner, leaving an exhausted Johnathon Thurston (pictured) in awe at the way his side played for each other.
