Port Adelaide have suspended Jarman Impey and fellow Port player Aidyn Johnson for one match and fined them $5000 after the pair fled the scene of a car accident on Saturday night.
Impey was driving the car that crashed into 4 vehicles, one of which belonged to teammate Angus Monfries after leaving Monfries house after a party.
Port Chief executive Keith Thomas (pictured) says while the club is adamant there is no excuse for Impey’s behaviour, extenuating circumstances go some way to explaining the players inability to deal with the crash at the time.
