The Port Adelaide club have banned racist fan Alexandra Pelosi indefinitely after Sundays banana throwing incident.
Pelosi has been fined $543 after being charged with disorderly conduct and has issued a statement apologising for the incident.
Ports Aboriginal Programs manager Paul Vandenbergh (pictured) says the club is hopeful the woman is genuinely remorseful and would be prepared for the ban to be lifted in the future if that was proven to be true.
