AFL players from a number of clubs will change the number on their guernseys for this weekends Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Players including Shaun Burgoyne, Buddy Franklin, Daniel Wells and Stephen May will sport the number 67 in commemoration of the 1967 referendum.
Hawthorns Kokatha star, four time premiership winner and 300 gamer Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) says it’s a wonderful opportunity to remind people of the significance of the date and he’s excited to be able to play his part.
