New South Wales coach Laurie Daley says he had no qualms about selecting Mitchell Pearce in the Blues side for Origin Game One next week.
Pearce who made his debut for New South Wales as a 19 year old in 2008, has won just 4 games in fifteen Origin outings for the Blues, and rightly or wrongly has been judged to have been out of his depth in the games toughest contest.
Daley (pictured) though says Pearce has matured greatly in recent years and deserves his place in the Blues side purely on his form in the NRL this year.
