Hawthorn recruit Jaeger O’Meara (pictured) says the ability of the Hawks medical staff was a major factor in his decision to relocate to Waverley.
The former Rising Star winner hasn’t played in two years after back to back knee injuries and comes to the club as midfield guns Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis depart.
The Hawks medical department have worked wonders in managing the chronic injuries of stars Shaun Burgoyne and Cyril Rioli and O’Meara says, in addition to his desire to move home to Melbourne, the prospect of having his body looked after by the Hawks medical department was also a key factor in his decision.
