Cameron Smith has delivered a stunning broadside to the NRL on the eve of State of Origin Game One.
Smith (pictured) is the president of the Rugby League Players Association and he and the other players have become increasingly frustrated by the NRL’s refusal to meet the players demands for revenue sharing when the new broadcast rights deal is finalised.
The NRL claims the game is broke and can’t afford to allow the players the 29% share they’re seeking, leading to this stunning indictment from the Queensland and Australian captain.
