The Cronulla Sharks have lost all chance of taking out the NRL’s minor premiership after going down to the Rabbitohs on Monday night.
The Sharks were the standouts through the first months of the competition with their unbeaten run of 14 matches marking them as early favourites for the premiership but Monday nights 12 -6 loss to Souths was the clubs fourth in a row and the club has dropped a win and half below the Storm in second place on the NRL ladder.
Stand in skipper Wade Graham (pictured) says while the club is hurting after its fourth straight loss, the team is still confident about its chances with just two rounds remaining before the finals.
