New South Wales State of Origin coach Laurie Daley says outgoing captain Paul Gallen (pictured) has earned his Origin swansong next week in Sydney.
Gallen will retire from Origin footy after next weeks game and will go down in history as the most unsuccessful captain in Origin history.
After yet another series loss in 2016, many have suggested it was time for Gallen to lose his place in the side but Daley says he never even considered leaving out the Blues skipper and denying him his final match at the helm of the Blues side.
