New South Wales coach Laurie Daley says he gave no thought to leaving skipper Paul Gallen (pictured) out of the Blues die for the final Origin game next week.
The match will be Gallens last for New South Wales but with the Blues rebuilding after yet another series win to Queensland, the pressure has been on for Daley to move on immediately from the Gallen era.
The Blues coach though is nothing if not loyal and says despite the calls for Gallens axing, he never considered leaving the skipper out of the side for his Origin swansong.
