Strong performances for Western Australia in the National U/18 championships have earned First Nations forward Quinton Narkle (pictured) a place at the Geelong Cats.
Narkle has been known for his keenness to engage with his indigenous culture while at Wesley College which was another factor that attracted the attention of Cats recruitment manager Stephen Wells.
One of the better midfielders to go in this years draft, Narkle says he hopes he can offer plenty to the Cats midfield as he hopes to establish himself at the highest level.
