Greater Western Sydney ruckman Shane Mumford (pictured) says he’s contacted Buddy Franklin to apologize for his unacceptable sledge in Saturdays win by the Giants.
The Giants went at the Swans with every weapon at their disposal in Saturdays final, but Mumford attempting to get under Franklins skin with a sledge about his mental health issue has been roundly criticized.
In seeking to put the incident behind him and get back to the footy, Mumford says he contacted Franklin to apologize and the Swans star is happy to move on.
