New South Wales three quarter Blake Ferguson says the move to the centres might be too great a challenge for Darius Boyd.
Boyd’s position in Origin Game Two has been the subject of much speculation since the naming of Qld’s Game Two team with the addition of Billy Slater and Valentine Holmes to the Maroon squad.
Ferguson (pictured) says while there is no doubt about Boyds ability to play wing and fullback, the defensive requirements in the centre’s in rugby leagues toughest contest might be beyond even a player of Boyds quality.
