In form Melbourne Rebels backrower Sean McMahon (pictured) has been named to replace David Pocock at No. 8 for the Wallabies in Melbourne on Saturday.
McMahan has played a number of games for Australian but never in the No. 8 position and never on home soil.
Former Wallaby and Wiradjuri World Cup winner Jim Williams says while selecting McMahon out of position could be a risk, he believes the 21 year old McMahon’s trademark aggression could be just what the Wallabies need when they take on the abrasive English.
