Former Newcastle rugby league player Alex McKinnon says he’s found peace as he adjust to life in a wheelchair.
McKinnon was left a quadriplegic after suffering a spinal injury in a tackle by Melbourne forward Jordan McLean in 2014.
McKinnon (pictured) says after 3 years of therapy and soul searching, he’s been able to forgive McLean for his part in the tragedy and would one day like to sit down together and put to rest the incident that changed both their lives.
