Players in the inaugural AFL Womens League will be subject to the same amount of scrutiny as their male counterparts when the competition begins next year.
AFL games development executive Simon Lethlean (pictured) has announced the formation on a two to three member match review panel to rule on any incidents in the womens league.
Exhibition matches played so far have been praised for the skill levels and hardness displayed and Lethlean says its important that the league has a system in place to oversee what promises to be a hard fought and competitive competition.
