South Sydney coach Michael Maguire has confirmed the move of skipper Greg Inglis (pictured) to the halves for Friday nights clash with the Eels.

The misfiring Rabbitohs desperately need something to turn their season around and the coach believes the presence of the captain in the front line of the Souths offense could be  whats needed to get the club back on the winning side of the ledger.

Inglis notably played five eighth for the Melbourne Storm in the clubs 2007 premiership season and after talking it through with the Dhunghutti star, Maguire believes  the move is the right one to get Souths season moving forward.
