Wallaby coach Michael Cheika (pictured) says he has no qualms about playing high profile NRL defector Marika Koroibete in Friday nights match against the French Barbarians.
Cheika has been searching for more speed for the Wallabies and sees the former Melbourne Storm star and Kangaroo winger as the ideal solution to Australias percieved lack of pace.
The Fijian flyer wasn’t expected to play on tour after such a short time in the 15 man game but Cheika says, with the way he’s progressed, it’s time to throw him in the deep end and see what he can do.
