18 year old First Nations forward Kayle Kirby has been drafted by the Collingwood Footy club after an outstanding 2015 season.
After starring for Bendigo in the TAC Cup, Kirby starred for Richmonds VFL side late in the season, booting five goals on debut and followed that up with four majors the following week.
After being selected by the Magpies with pick 50, Kirby says he barely had time to take in the news before the calls from well wishers and family started to flood in.
