Johnathon Thurston (pictured) believes Australia is in great shape to take on world No. 1’s New Zealand at Anfield on Sunday morning.
The Kangaroos have swept through the Four Nations tournament, beating the other three teams convincingly while giving game time to the entire Australian squad.
Despite the loss of the teams cultural leader Sam Thaiday to facial fractures, Thurston believes the team is primed to take on the Kiwis and take a further step towards regaining the No. 1 ranking.
