Former NRL star and Fox Sports pundit Matt King believes the injury to Cowboys skipper Johnathon Thurston could be bad news for the rest of the NRL clubs.
Thurston is expected to miss two weeks after straining his hamstring in the 36 – 0 dismantling of the Bulldogs on Thursday night.
King says, after a hectic period that included the Origin Series, Thurstons injury may well allow the Cowboys skipper the time he needs to freshen up for another charge at the NRL finals series.
