North Queensland captain Johnathon Thurston (pictured) says he believes he’s over the illness that saw him lose four kilos in the Cowboys defeat of the Broncos last weekend.
Thurston was again the difference in that match and after the game revealed he’d required injections at half time to get through the game.
Cronulla know that stopping Thurston is a key to their chances but if the skipper is feeling the pressure, he’s not showing it.
