Former Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson (pictured) says the move to play a Day Night Test in next years Ashes series is a mistake.
Cricket Australia has announced that the Second Test of the 2017/18 Ashes series to be played at the Adelaide Oval will be played with a pink ball under lights.
Johnson, who’s hopeful of being fit to be selected for the Perth Scorchers for the Big Bash that begins next week, says while he understands the commercial reason behind the decision, changing the conditions under which an Ashes Series is played it going a step too far.
