Gold Coast Titans forward Ryan James (pictured) has confirmed his desire to be considered as a potential captaincy option in 2017.
The Indigenous All Star was a standout performer for the Titans in 2016 season, leading the clubs tryscoring and is now the subject of increasing interest from the other clubs with his contract due for renewal at the end of the 2017 season.
With Greg Bird on his way to Catalans in the Super League, 25 year old James says he’s ready to step up into the captaincy role as the club look s to improve on their excellent 2016 season.
