The SBS has confirmed Isaiah Firebrance has been chosen to represent Australia at Eurovision 2017.
Isaiah Firebrance is a 17 year old Indigenous Australian born in the town of Moama in the Riverina district of NSW, Last year he went on to compete in and win The Xfactor 2016 he was the first Aboriginal to win a reality tv show since Casey Donavon

He is one of three Australians to represent the country at this event, His Eurovision song is called Don’t Come Easy which was written by Sydneys DNA to what Firebrance says has a Sam Smith vibe
The teenager plans to represent his indigenous heritage at the event, taking a nod from Jessica Mauboy who sang at Eurovision in 2014. Isaiah says “I’m really honoured to be in this position. I thought X Factor was up there, this has gone way above it. I’m really grateful and I want to inspire not only indigenous kids but everyone and show them that your dreams can come true.”
He will compete in Kiev in the Ukraine from May 12 with the final taking place on May 14.
