Former Kangaroo Jamal Idris (pictured) says he couldn’t be more serious about making a return to the NRL.
The 26 year old Indigenous All Star walked away from the game in 2015 and has spent the time since coming to terms with a life that became mired in anxiety and depression after becoming a star at just 18.
With a greater perspective on life after his time out of the game, the former Titan, Panther and Bulldog says he’s now confident he has the desire to once again play in the NRL.
