The Wests Tigers have confirmed the news that Jamal Idris will miss the remainder of the 2017 NRL season.
The 26 year old Indigenous All Star returned to rugby league this year after a year out of the game and was seen as a key part of the Tigers revival plans in 2017.
The ACL injury is the same that he suffered while with the Panthers in 2015 and coach Ivan Cleary (pictured) says it’s a shock to learn that such an innocuous incident could end Edris’ comeback and potentially his career.
