Jarryd Haynes (pictured) ambition to represent Fiji at the Rio Olympics appears to be over after he announced on social media that he’d been left out of the Fijian Sevens side for the games.
Hayne made the announcement after being informed by Fiji coach Ben Ryan that he wasn’t ready for the challenge of playing Sevens at the Olympics.
Much attention will now turn to Haynes plans for the future and former dual international Lote Tuquiri says he expects that a return to the NRL and the Parramatta Eels is very much on the cards for the globetrotting Hayne.
