AFL premiers Hawthorn have left the other finals contenders in no doubt about how seriously they’re taking their 2016 premiership aspirations after Thursday nights uncompromising defeat of Port Adelaide.
The Hawks have moved to two games clear at the top of the ladder after knocking off the Port side by 22 points.
Hawks coach Alistair Clarkson (pictured) had questioned not only the toughness of the Port side but also his own players before the game and said after the match, he was determined that his side wouldn’t be ambushed by the Power.
