The Hawthorn Footy club have secured Jaeger O’Meara (pictured) in the last minutes of the AFL Trade Period.
22 year old O’Meara had requested a trade to the Hawks on September 13 but its taken 5 weeks for the deal to finally come together.
The former Rising Star hasn’t played in 2 seasons but former Swans star Tadgh Kennelly believes the Hawks have got themselves a player around which they can build the next generation of Hawthorn sides.
