Hawthorn coach Alistair Clarkson is adamant that Sundays defeat at the hands of the Suns isn’t a sign that the Hawks long reign as one of the AFLs powerhouse clubs is coming to an end.
The Hawks were jumped from the opening bounce by the Gold Coast side that went on to a crushing 86 point victory, booting 21 goals to Hawthorns seven.
Clarkson (pictured) has lead his team to four AFL premierships and he says although its difficult seeing his team struggling to compete, he’s confident the team has it in them to bounce back.
