North Melbourne  have been at pains to ensure the celebrations surrounding Brent Harveys record breaking 427th game don’t disrupt the clubs preparations ahead of the clash with St Kilda on Saturday night.

Harvey will break Hawthorn legend Michael Tucks record for the most games played in the AFL and has been surrounded by media attention all week.

The Kangaroos are just hanging onto 8th place on the ladder with the Saints a win away in ninth position, leaving the club in the precarious position of honouring Harveys remarkable career while trying to ensure the moment doesn’t overshadow the very real challenge being offered by St Kilda.
