North Melbourne champion Brent Harvey (pictured) became the AFL’s all time games record holder on the weekend as the Kangaroos moved clear of the rest of the pack at the bottom end of the AFL ladder.
Harvey had 24 disposals in the match but it took a gift from teammate Lindsay Thomas to ensure the 38 year old had a goal to his name in the milestone match.
Thomas marked in front of goal late in the match and says he had no hesitation in handballing to Harvey to fulfil a promise made to his long time teammate earlier in the week.
