Adam Goodes says with the passing of time since his retirement, he’s been able to come to terms with the events of last years AFL season.
Goodes (pictured) called time on his celebrated 372 game career at the end of the 2015 season after incessant booing from opposition supporters robbed him of the joy of playing footy.
The former Swans skipper will enjoy a a long overdue lap of honour during half time of Saturday afternoons local derby against the Giants and he says, after a fruitful meeting with AFL boss Gillon McLachlan, he’s looking forward to farewelling the Swans faithful in style.
