Australias Olympic team have begun moving into the Games village after work to rectify the numerous faults that greeted the team when they first arrived earlier in the week.
Australias chef de mission Kitty Chiller (pictured) was adamant that no members of the Austalian team would be permitted to stay in the village until problems with plumbing and electricity were rectified to her satisfaction.
The decision initially sparked a war of words with Rio mayor Eduardo Paes but Chiller says the pair have buried the hatchet and shes satisfied accommodation that the Australian teams accommodation is now up to scratch.
