NRL ladder leaders Cronulla expect skipper Paul Gallen (pictured) to play a vital part in the clubs charge towards the finals.
Gallen has announced his retirement from State of Origin football, citing a desire to concentrate all his playing efforts on an historic Sharks premiership.
Cronulla coach Shane Flannagan says while he expects Gallen his captain to go around again in 2017, he’s confident he’s got the petrol left in the tank to guide the club to what would be an historic NRL premiership.
