Cronulla Sharks premiership skipper Paul Gallen (pictured) says he’s committed to another season at the Shire.

Gallen has called time on his representative career and there was speculation that the inaugural Cronulla premiership would be an appropriate time for the 35 year old to end his time in the game.

If anything, Gallen says the premiership win has given him a new lease on life in the game and he wasn’t prepared to add to the loss of the teams leadership by following Michael Ennis into retirement.
