Former Manly Warringah star Mal Cochrane (pictured) is one of a number of new members added to the Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council.
Cochrane, a member of the Indigenous Team of the Century and 1986 Rothmans Medal winner has been working at the grassroots of indigenous rugby league for many years.
The Council has been celebrated for the work its done in the game in the short time since its foundation and Cochrane says he’ll be concentrating specifically on working with women and youth as the Council continues to move forward in promoting the game at the grassroots level.
