The Brisbane Broncos hope a win against the Parramatta Eels on Friday night at Lang Park will be enough to secure a spot in the top eight for the 2016 NRL finals.
A win over the Eels will see Brisbane on 28 points which is generally regarded as the cutoff for a final eight spot.
Broncos forward Sam Thaiday (pictured) says, with the club still struggling to find its best form, while it would be good to lock in the required points, the team won’t be content with a win over the Eels as finals beckon for the early season premiership favourites.
