Andrew Fifita’s display in Origin Game One in Brisbane is a sure sign that he has put the worst of the 2016 season behind him.
Fifita was the dominant force in the Blues 28 – 4 demolition of the Maroons and was duly rewarded by being named Man of the Match by the Australian selectors, who chose to leave him out of the Kangaroos squad last year for disciplinary reasons.
Fifita (pictured) says after finally being granted a place in the Blues starting lineup, he was glad he could do the job for his team.
