New South Wales State of Origin coach Laurie Daley (pictured) says he’s relieved that the long running controversy enveloping Andrew Fifita appears to be nearing an end.
After being left out of the Kangaroos Four Nations squad for failing to fulfil the behavioural criteria required of an Australian representative, Fifita’s selection in the Indigenous All Stars squad for next years clash is the first indication that the giant forwards representative exile might be over.
Daley is also the coach of the Indigenous All Stars and he says he’s looking forward to the saga coming to an end.
