Kangaroos lynchpin Johnathon Thurston says playing on some of Englands most famous sporting grounds will be something he’ll remember long after he retires from rugby league.
In England for the Four Nations Tournament, Gungarri man Thurston will join his teammates in the sides opening match against Scotland in what are expected to be difficult conditions at Hull.
The Kangaroos go into the match as firm favourites but with the tournament final being played at Anfield, the home of football giants Liverpool, the team is already excited about a future meeting on one of the worlds most famous sporting grounds.
