New South Wales coach Laurie Daley (pictured) says he would like further clarification about Cronulla forward Andrew Fifita’s representative eligibility.

Fifita was left out of the Kangaroos squad for the Four Nations tournament with NRL CEO Todd Greenberg explaining that the Grand Final star had failed to live up to the higher expected standards of behaviour of Australian representatives, after Fifita’s very public declaration of support of a convicted killer and an earlier incident of abuse towards a junior official, that saw him banned for eight matches.

Daley says he’s uncertain about the circumstances of Fifitas ban and he’d like further clarification of the decision making that saw the big forward ruled out of the Australian side.
