New South Wales coach Laurie Daley says he expects to see Johnathon Thurston take his place on the Maroons side for Origin Game One next week.
Thurston was named as Queenslands 18th man for the series opener with Anthony Milford named to make his Origin debut in his place.
Daley (pictured) though says with Thurstons renowned recuperative powers, he won’t be buying into the headgames over the Queensland champions fitness and will prepare his team accordingly.
