Tiwi Islander Cyril Rioli (pictured) has again reinforced why he is one of the genuine superstars of the AFL with his last minute heroics against the Sydney Swans at the SCG on Thursday night.
Playing in front of the largest crowd for an AFL game in 20 years, the leagues top sides played out an intriguing encounter in which neither side was able to establish dominance, with the lead changing nine times.
With just over a minute remaining, Rioli marked and goaled to give the Hawks a five point victory and himself a 27th birthday present he’ll savour.
