Cowboys skipper Johnathon Thurston says he’s confident this side can make the necessary improvement it needs to take on minor premiers Melbourne in the first week of the finals series.
The premiers were comfortable five tries to three victors over the Titans at home on Saturday evening, getting home with room to spare by 32 – 16.
The Titans were uncharacteristically flat against the premiers and Thurston says while it’s a relief to finish with a top four spot, he’s confident his team has the goods to go all the way in the finals.
