Sydney Swans coach John Longmire had defended the output of superstar full forward Buddy Franklin (pictured) after last weeks narrow loss to Hawthorn.
Franklin failed to kick a goal against the Hawks, ironically the club that let Franklin go after the Hawks were defeated by the Swans in the 2012 Grand Final, with the club concerned it had become too one dimensional with Franklin the focus of its attack.
Longmire though says while Buddy failed to kick a major, he certainly contributed to the teams effort around the ground.
