Former Queensland captain Gordon Tallis says former Maroons half Daly Cherry Evans will remain on the outer with Maroons selectors.
Despite the doubts about Johnathon Thurstons fitness for Origin Game One on May31, the Manly star has hardly been mentioned in discussions about a possible replacement.
Tallis (pictured) says Cherry Evans decision to walk out on his deal with the Gold Coast and failure to ignite the Maroons when given the chance in 2014 means he will remain way down the list of Queensland hopefuls now and in the future.
