Kurtley Beale says a desire to reunite with Wallaby coach and former Waratahs mentor Michael Cheika was a major factor in his decision to return to Australia.
Beale (pictured) has confirmed that he won’t be taking up the option of a second season with English club Wasps, with whom he’s had an excellent season since his return from a serious knee injury.
Beale played some of his best rugby under Cheika at the Waratahs and Wallabies and he says the opportunity to resume his relationship with the Wallaby mentor was a big factor in his decision t return home to Australia.
